Taxi licences
The authorisation to carry out carriage by taxi, hereinafter referred to as the transport authorisation, is the document issued by the authorising authority certifying that a carrier is authorised to carry out the carriage in question and may participate in the award of the management of the taxi transport service.
Taxi services may be provided only by authorised carriers under delegated management contracts.
The authorization authority for the taxi service in Oradea is the Urban Transport Regulation Department within the Technical Department of Oradea City Hall.
Haulier - authorised natural person, family business, sole proprietorship or legal entity, registered in the commercial register to carry out road vehicle transport activities;
Authorised carrier - a carrier holding a transport authorisation for local public transport by taxi issued by the authorising authority.
Permits for the public transport of persons, goods or property by taxi are issued by the licensing authority. They are valid indefinitely, subject to endorsement every 5 years, once the conditions for their issue have been verified.
The transport authorisation shall be issued in duplicate, one copy of which shall be sent to the holder and the other kept by the authorising authority.
Authorisations are non-transferable.
The authorised transporter is obliged to notify the authorising authority of any changes to the name or registered office within 30 days of their occurrence and to request, in writing, that the changes be implemented.

- certificate of registration as a carrier and certificate of registration issued by the Trade Register Office;
- the taxi driver's certificate of professional training in the case of authorised natural persons;
- the transport manager's certificate of professional competence in the case of commercial companies, family businesses and sole proprietorships;
- the criminal record certificate of the taxi driver and, where applicable, the transport manager;
- the medical and psychological opinion of the taxi driver and, where appropriate, the transport manager;
- a declaration on the periods during which the carrier has carried out taxi services, stating the periods during which he has been banned and the reasons for such bans, form FORM C1f-declaration concerning the periods during which he has carried out taxi services
- a sworn statement by the carrier that he can provide parking space for all the vehicles with which he will carry out taxi transport, whether owned or leased, form FORM C1g-declaration on the provision of space for taxi parking
- a sworn statement by the carrier that he owns or has the financial capacity to own a number of motor vehicles, by type, owned or leased, which he will use for the carriage service, form FORM C1h-declaration of ownership of motor vehicles
- the carrier's tax record;
- fee for issuing transport authorization - 335 lei.
The files are picked up in the Hall (Piramida) of Oradea City Hall: counters 18, 19 or 20 of the Technical Department.
