Payment and communication methods

When drawing up payment orders or payment disbursement slips, specify the following information on the payment document:

- identification data of the Municipality of Oradea (CUI : 4230487)

- the name of the tax and the IBAN account opened at TREZORERIA ORADEA (the information can be found in the file LIST OF IBAN ACCOUNTS 2023);

- the taxpayer's identification data.

For payments made to the local budget, filling in the Unique Identification Code field is mandatory, unlike payments made to suppliers (Electrica, Romtelecom, etc.) where it is optional.

Payments that do not have the correct unique identification code of the Municipality of Oradea will be refused for processing by the Treasury units and the amounts will be returned to the payer's account within 3-5 working days.

According to the legal provisions, individuals residing in other localities are obliged to pay the fine tickets to the account of the administrative-territorial unit (town hall) of residence, in order to be considered as having been paid on time at the administrative-territorial unit of residence.

Tax due to the same local budget by taxpayers, up to and including 50 lei, is payable in full by the first payment deadline.

The tax is due for the entire tax year by the individual who owns the taxable property on 31 December of the previous tax year.

Failure to pay obligations on time will result in the calculation of surcharges. "The level of the late payment surcharge shall be 1% of the amount of the principal tax liability not paid on time, calculated for each month or fraction of a month, starting on the day immediately following the due date and up to and including the date of extinction of the amount due."

Providing remote services is one of the specific objectives of the Economic Department of Oradea City Hall in the strategy to improve the relationship between taxpayers and the local tax authority.

Application form

We are now able to send you electronically. documents usually issued by the City of Oradea on paper and most of the time by post (annual tax decisions, payment notices, enforceable titles, distraints, notice of refund, notice of compensation, etc.).

Advantage:

- Reduced time for receiving information

- Elimination of unnecessary trips (to the Town Hall or post office)

- Reduced costs for printing, mailing, etc.

In the near future we will expand the online/electronic services offered to taxpayers who choose electronic communication of documents, by developing a virtual space, similar to ANAF. Through this platform, on the basis of a secure access (authentication by phone number) it will be possible to send information/documents from you to the City of Oradea.

In addition, the e-communication service will include, in addition to emailing and sending SMS notifications and alerts on transactions on your account.
