PHOTO: Flying market
The emergence of the flying markets in Oradea comes as a result of the need of the citizens of Oradea to have direct contact with local producers from Bihor county.
Such flying markets are organised weekly in the city centre - Piața Unirii and in Piațeta Nufărul, next to McDonald's, urban markets set up with non-reimbursable European funds.
Oradea City Hall plans to organize a similar weekly market in 2024 in the Cazaban Square in the Ioșia district, which will also be set up with European funds.
Except in winter, when local seasonal produce is in short supply.
