As far as air transport infrastructure is concerned, there is only one airport in Bihor County, in Oradea, about 10 km from the Hungarian border. Oradea International Airport operates domestic flights to Bucharest to Henri Coandă Airport Bucharest. International flights include destinations such as Crete (Greece), Hurghada (Egypt) and Antalya (Turkey).
Oradea Airport is currently in the process of modernising both the passenger terminal and the airport infrastructure complex.
in June 2022 the official launch of the industrial project CTPark Oradea Cargo - the first air - cargo terminal. The cargo terminal is being built on a 14 ha site located between the airport and Industrial Park II.

The Cargo Terminal in Oradea is the first air cargo terminal in Romania. This project benefits from a direct connection with Oradea Airport and the Eurobusiness II industrial centre, as well as with the neighbouring big cities such as Timisoara, Arad, Cluj-Napoca, Deva, Debrecen, Budapest.

Located in the western part of Oradea, between Șoseaua Borșului and Episcopia Bihor railway station, the project involves the construction of two railway lines of about 700 metres each. They will be used for loading and unloading goods transported through the intermodal centre.
The Oradea Intermodal Centre also involves the construction of a concrete platform between the two lines, a container-type administrative building for the logistics part, parking for trucks, fencing of the intermodal terminal, lighting and connection to utilities.
Oradea thus becomes a hub for freight transport, being located near the Transylvania A3 motorway and the Oradea - Arad expressway, and the Cluj-Napoca - Oradea - Episcopia Bihor railway will be electrified. The intermodal centre will be connected by a link road to the E60/DN1.
Through the implementation of the project, the area will become a strong economic hub for the whole North-West region. The centre will ensure the transfer of goods from Oradea and Bihor County to Western Europe and other areas of Romania.
Oradea 's infrastructure is an essential point in the development of the region and its connection with the European Union's transport networks. One of the key elements in this context is the crossing point at the Vama Borș II motorway.
This motorway not only facilitates regional mobility, but also creates a vital connectivity axis between Romania and the rest of Europe, thus contributing to the economic and social development of the city and the surrounding region.

Visit https://crescoradea.ro/ if you want to be incubated or to find out more about this new facility that Oradea offers.
Oradea City Hall has the first business incubator, called "Cresc Oradea Mare". It will host 15 companies in the creative field, such as software development for design, creation, animation and other creative fields, and is 100% completed. The municipality of Oradea wants to support newly established companies and those with a short history of operation - maximum 2 years, through business support services.
In this way, entrepreneurs who have recently entered the market will be helped to cope with the competitive environment and survive in the long term, reaching a level of stability and autonomy that allows them to operate on their own.
The incubator will operate in the building of the former neurology hospital in str. Louis Pasteur, a building that has been rehabilitated and enhanced, with an area of 2,200 square meters, owned by the municipality of Oradea.
Inside, the incubation space was set up with a total of 15 offices for start-ups, 30 open space workspaces, 6 workshops - support spaces for incubated companies, event and training rooms. In addition, the building will be equipped with furniture, IT equipment, infrastructure for monitoring the building, card-based access, and
specific equipment for creative activities.
Incubated firms are required to create at least one job that they will maintain throughout the incubation period. They must also take the necessary measures to increase economic performance, as measured by turnover growth each fiscal year. All tax obligations are incumbent on residents who will be required to enter into commercial contracts with economic partners outside the geographical area of the Business Incubator.
The financing of the investment was provided by European funds through the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020.
