Pest control, pest control and phytosanitary treatments
SC CORAL IMPEX SRL is the operator for the provision of public sanitation service for pest control, disinfection, pest control and phytosanitary treatments in the Municipality of Oradea, in accordance with the provisions of contract no. 71251 dated 18.02.2022, signed with the municipality for the period 2022 - 2026.
The objectives of the Unified Programme of Action for the provision of public sanitation services for pest control, disinfection, pest control and phytosanitary treatments in the Municipality of Oradea, to which the treatments are applied are:
- open spaces in the public and private domain of the Municipality of Oradea:
parks, squares, green corridors, playgrounds, dog kennels, parking lots, bicycle paths, sports fields, green spaces related to residential blocks, banks of water courses, larviciding areas (water luster);
- open spaces belonging to natural and legal persons, in the case of pest control treatments carried out from the street line, adjacent to these spaces, with appropriate equipment: public paths, street lines;
Pest control is an operation of insect control by ecological, biological and chemical means with the aim of maintaining a low level of insect density, achieving adequate conditions of hygiene and comfort for the population, as well as eliminating the risk of transmitting diseases to humans or animals through insect vectors.
Pest control operations are carried out at a frequency of 12 stages/year (2 times/month), usually during the warm season (April to September).
Derating is the eradication of rodents by chemical poisoning or microbial culture. This operation is a complex of measures applied on a permanent basis to destroy pest rodents (mice, rats), vectors of communicable diseases and/or causing discomfort and to keep their numbers down.
Deratization prevents and combats the transmission of diseases: bacterial, viral and parasitic, both in humans and animals. Mice, but especially rats, are reservoirs of infection and vectors, spreading trichinellosis, leptospirosis, brucellosis, foot-and-mouth disease, viral gastroenteritis, anthrax, rabies, food poisoning, etc.
Pest control operations are carried out at a frequency of 3 stages/year.
Phytosanitary treatments include the following operations:
- Phytosanitary treatments on trees, shrubs in parks, parks and squares.
- Frequency: 4 stages/year.
- Phytosanitary treatments for the control of the "Cameraria Ohridella" leafminer larvae on chestnut trees located on the public domain of Oradea.
- Frequency: 6 stages/year.
- Phytosanitary treatments to control the plane tiger on trees located on the public domain of Oradea municipality.
- Frequency: 4 stages/year.
